Speaking engagements

Sera is a social justice, grassroots activist committed to working towards balancing the scales of access, equity, and availability in women’s reproductive healthcare. She has training in midwifery, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women’s Studies, and a Masters Degree in Public Health. Her community organizing background ranges from reproductive rights to violence against women to welfare and poverty issues to anti-war campaigns. She has worked on women’s health issues with in the U.S, Northern India, Guatemala, Tibet, Palestine, tsunami-affected Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tanzania, Jordan, Haiti, Afghanistan, Syria, Jordan, Vietnam, Turkey, and Israel. Sera has lectured around the world at academic, advocacy, and corporate events speaking on topics ranging from feminism to global health to social entrepreneurship. Sera has fifteen years experience fasciliating panels, leading hard conversations serving as a cultural broker, and in keynote addresses at events ranging from international conferences to intimate VIP dinner events.
